About The Position

FirstCare Onsite is seeking an experienced, professional Emergency Medical Technician to provide on-site medical and occupational health services at a construction project. The EMT will be stationed at an on-site medical facility, providing first aid for minor work-related injuries and assisting with occupational health and screening services. The position is generally lower-volume and lower-stress than traditional ambulance or emergency medical services, while maintaining high expectations for professionalism, punctuality, documentation, clinical readiness, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working independently, and prepared to respond appropriately when medical care is needed. This role offers an opportunity to use EMT experience in a controlled, professional on-site environment rather than a traditional EMS setting involving frequent emergency calls, ambulance transport, and high patient volumes. It is suited to an experienced EMT seeking a more predictable clinical setting while remaining involved in patient care, workplace safety, and occupational medicine. Even when activity is low, EMTs are expected to remain attentive, professional, prepared, and responsive throughout their shift.
