About The Position

Geisinger EMT's now have NEW starting rates! We are also offering a $5,000 bonus to those who qualify! This role involves examining and evaluating patients to determine necessary care, providing emergency care using appropriate techniques and equipment, and administering basic life support. The EMT will also gather patient data, document patient information, condition, and treatment, and maintain patient confidentiality while performing all care with respect for patient rights. Transporting patients, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and operating an ambulance in compliance with safety policies and laws are also key responsibilities. Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. The role requires satisfying all job-specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Certified Emergency Medical Technician - State of Pennsylvania
• Emergency Medical Services Vehicle Operator
• Valid Driver's License
• Communication

• Teamwork

Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care.
