This is a per diem position with variable start times, requiring a minimum of three shift availabilities per 2-week pay period. The EMT will drive ambulances using safe driving practices and provide patient care for neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics under the supervision of a Paramedic, adhering to EMT field protocols. They will also assist RNs and/or Paramedics with patient care in the Emergency Room and assist with the operations of the Emergency Department/Ambulance Service as directed. Communication of pertinent patient, physician, and personnel concerns to the Ambulance Manager is also a key responsibility. The role includes maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and vehicles and performing Public Relation activities as directed.
