About The Position

This is a full-time position for an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at an occupational clinic. The role involves performing basic life support procedures consistent with state and local operating protocols, operating within the scope of practice for licensure, and reporting to a Field Supervisor. The position requires the ability to provide medical examinations and screenings, use safety equipment, and complete all reports accurately and on time. The employee will work 12-hour night shifts from Wednesday to Friday, working 36 hours a week while being paid for 40. Training on the day shift for two months is also required.

Requirements

• Current EMT Basic license from the State of Michigan.
• Valid State of Michigan motor vehicle operating license, with continued safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Renders basic life support procedures to patients in a variety of settings consistent with state and local operating protocols.
• Ability to provide good and accurate oral reports to designated medical personnel.
• Completes all reports legibly, accurately and on a timely basis.
• Performs all duties in a safe, courteous, confidential and professional manner, always taking into account the wellbeing of the patient.
• Provide medical examination and screening of patients consistent with Medical Control Authority protocols
• Uses safety and PPE equipment as required by law and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
