About The Position

The EMT position administers first aid treatment at our client sites, arranges for transport of sick or injured persons to a medical facility, and works as a member of the emergency medical team. They help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises checking for irregularities and inspecting emergency equipment. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our EMT Officers will also provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal certification requirements for EMT-Basic (EMT-1) level.
EMT certification must be registered in Indiana.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
Ability to be an effective team member.
Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
Courteous telephone manner.
Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to provide high quality customer service.
