About The Position

The EMT position administers first aid treatment at our client sites, arranges for transport of sick or injured persons to a medical facility, and works as a member of the emergency medical team. They help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises checking for irregularities and inspecting emergency equipment. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our EMT Officers will also provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Requirements

• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal certification requirements for EMT-Basic (EMT-1) level.
• EMT certification must be registered in Indiana.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
• Ability to be an effective team member.
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
• Courteous telephone manner.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
• Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to provide high quality customer service.
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
