Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • MVR check required (violations within 36 months may impact eligibility)
  • Must pass the FISDAP entrance exam and enroll in: Pennsylvania College of Technology, or Northern Pennsylvania Regional College

Nice To Haves

  • National Registry EMT Certification
  • PA EMT Certification with EMSVO endorsement
  • CPR/BLS, EVDT, PHTLS, Hazmat Awareness, NIMS/ICS 100, 200, 700 & 800
  • Act 33, Act 34, and FBI Act 73 (with renewal)
