Customer Service Representative
About The Position
Johnson Controls is seeking an Emergency Dispatch Operator (EDO) to join their team. This role involves monitoring and responding to alarms and signals while providing exceptional customer service. Promotional opportunities are available after 90 days. The position includes a comprehensive five-week interactive training program designed to prepare you for the role and introduce you to exciting opportunities. Candidates must have the ability to work under pressure, demonstrate punctuality, and uphold strong work ethics. They must also be willing to perform other duties as assigned and maintain the necessary licensing as part of the job requirements.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to type between 20 – 25 wpm
- Basic knowledge of computer applications
Nice To Haves
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish and English
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and responding to alarms and signals while providing exceptional customer service.
- Making outgoing calls to verify alarms and signals, dispatch authorities, and notify responsible parties.
- Documenting alarm handling procedures and completing alarm processing as per standard operating procedures.
- Participating in a comprehensive five-week interactive training program.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Maintaining necessary licensing.
