About The Position

Johnson Controls is seeking an Emergency Dispatch Operator (EDO) to join their team. This role involves monitoring and responding to alarms and signals while providing exceptional customer service. Promotional opportunities are available after 90 days. The hourly wage ranges from $16 to $18, depending on experience. Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish and English are encouraged to apply and will receive additional compensation. The position includes a comprehensive five-week interactive training program designed to prepare you for the role and introduce you to exciting opportunities. During this training, you will develop the skills necessary to succeed.

Requirements

Must be 18 years old
Customer service experience
Excellent communication skills
Able to type between 20 – 25 wpm
Basic knowledge of computer applications
Ability to work under pressure
Demonstrate punctuality
Uphold strong work ethics
Maintain the necessary licensing as part of the job requirements.

Nice To Haves

Strong problem-solving skills
High School Diploma or GED
Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish and English

Responsibilities

Monitoring and responding to alarms and signals while providing exceptional customer service.
Make outgoing calls to verify alarms and signals, dispatch authorities, and notify responsible parties.
Document alarm handling procedures and complete alarm processing as per standard operating procedures.
Participating in a comprehensive five-week interactive training program designed to prepare you for the role and introduce you to exciting opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
