Emplify Health by Gundersen Tri-County is seeking a part-time (0.75 FTE) Emergency Department Technician! This is your opportunity to provide care to patients while doing the work you love as part of the Whitehall Emergency Department and Ambulance Crew.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- EMT-Basic or higher with at least 1 year of prior EMT experience required
- Valid Driver’s License
- BLS CPR for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Valid certified emergency vehicle operator (CEVO or EVOC) within 1 year of hire
Responsibilities
- 0.75 FTE (60 hours/two weeks)
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every 3rd weekend and holiday
- Deliver patient care in an emergent situation in the Emergency Department and Ambulance Setting.
- Assist with local 911 runs as well as transfers to local and regional hospitals
- Assist in the ER with tasks delegated by RN.
