Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Gundersen Tri-County is seeking a casual Emergency Department Technician! This is your opportunity to provide care to patients while doing the work you love as part of the Whitehall Emergency Department and Ambulance Crew.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- EMT-Basic or higher with at least 1 year of prior EMT or direct patient care experience desired
- Valid Driver’s License
- BLS CPR for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Valid certified emergency vehicle operator (CEVO or EVOC) within 1 year of hire
Responsibilities
- Casual call- pick up shifts when it works for you
- Deliver patient care in an emergent situation in the Emergency Department and Ambulance Setting.
- Assist with local 911 runs as well as transfers to local and regional hospitals
- Assist in the ER with tasks delegated by RN.
