About The Position

Supports nursing and physician staff by performing tasks that assist in the care and treatment of patients with illnesses and injuries. Serves as a liaison among members of the healthcare team, patients and families. Organizes, replaces and maintains inventory and supply levels in the Department. Assists in other department-related activities. Take a proactive approach in anticipating the needs of the patient and/or care team by performing and completing tasks within scope of practice. Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.
• Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire or, Washington Nursing Assistant Registered upon hire or, National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 1 year - Recent emergency department or related medical experience providing direct patient care, preferably in a free-standing emergency department.
• EMT-B recent experience will be considered. EMT-B procedures and skills allowed are generally non-invasive.
