About The Position
As an ED Tech, you will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary clinical team within our 36 bed unit. Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of their Patient Experience. As an Emergency Department Technician, you will be caring for your patients’ emergent issues by assisting them with their daily living, taking vital signs, Accu-Cheks, Phlebotomy, IV insertions, EKG’s, and other nursing assistant responsibilities.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent required
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required
- Previous experience in delivery of patient services required
Nice To Haves
- Some college preferred
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Intravenous access insertion preferred
- EMT/EMT-P preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with their daily living
- Take vital signs
- Perform Accu-Cheks
- Perform Phlebotomy
- Perform IV insertions
- Perform EKGs
- Perform other nursing assistant responsibilities
