About The Position
Sentara Emergency Department/ED Ambulatory - Port Warwick is hiring an Emergency Department Tech (ED Tech). This is a full-time position (36-hours per week) with a day shift from 7a-7p.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Successful completion Sentara Care Partner Certification Program
- Successful completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- Completion of US Navy Hospital Corps School
- Emergency Services to include EMR, EMS, EMT, AEMT and Paramedic
- Current student enrolled in a clinical program having completed at least one semester of a (RN, LPN, RT or PT)
- Current work experience within the last three years as a PCT or Nursing Assistant
- AHA BLS certification within 90 days of hire
