About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time Emergency Department Technician/EMT to join their highly committed and dynamic Emergency Services team. This role involves providing excellent quality care to patients of all ages. As an Emergency Department Technician/EMT, you will play a direct role in saving lives by serving patients in a safe environment and promoting long-term recovery. You are expected to perform with a high degree of clinical and professional aptitude, assisting in patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team. The Emergency Services department is a Level II ACS-verified Trauma Center, a high-energy, patient-centered environment with various specialized rooms, serving all patient populations. It is recognized for excellence through metrics and patient experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (NREMT) or Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B)
  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience in an emergency or pre-hospital setting is strongly preferred
