About The Position

This role is for an Emergency Department Tech. The position requires specific certifications and licensures, including Basic Life Support (BLS), a Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification (or equivalent like CNA or EMT), and Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM ADVANCED).

Requirements

• Must hold an internal MyMichigan Health Patient Care Technician certification or a current State of Michigan registry document as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or completion of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification culminating in licensure in the State of Michigan.
• BLS: Basic Life Support certification required within 1 month of hire or transfer.
• TEAM ADVANCED: Techniques for Effective Aggression Mgt certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer (employees in position on or before 8/1/2024 have 24 months to complete).
