About The Position

Work with providers and nurses in the Emergency Department to ensure patients receive remarkable care and are comfortable throughout their visit. We are seeking an Emergency Department (ED) Technician Lead to demonstrate expertise in the performance of emergency technician procedures, provide educational learnings to emergency department technicians, respond to pages/codes accordingly and assist as directed, provide casting and splint duties as needed, and work independently within the scope of practice to achieve clinical outcomes.

Requirements

• Completion of EMT-Basic Required
• 1 year of experience as an ED Technician Required
• EMT – Basic license or National Registry of EMT Required
• CPR/BLS certification Required

Nice To Haves

• Completion of AEMT or Paramedic program Preferred
• ACLS and PALS certification Preferred
• National Registry or Wisconsin Advanced Emergency Medical Technician or Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic license Preferred

Responsibilities
