About The Position

The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team who is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas. The RN will be required to assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests. They will be involved in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician.

Requirements

• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current, valid New Hampshire Registered Nurse License required or eligible to obtain.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS required.

Nice To Haves

• Clinical experience preferred.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization and certification in specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard assessments using basic equipment.
• Administer medication with visual acuity and hand-eye coordination.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Meet standards of job analysis for patient safety.
• Interact positively with team members and patients, respecting patients' culture, lifestyle, religion, and age.
