About The Position

The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team who is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas. The RN will be required to assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays and other diagnostic test. They will be involved in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician.

Requirements

• Successful completion from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current, valid New Hampshire Registered Nurse License or eligible to obtain.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS required.
• Able to perform standard Assessments using basic equipment.
• Visual acuity.
• Hand-Eye coordination.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Maintains confidentiality.
• Able to meet standards of job analysis form.
• Interact positively with members of team and patients.
• Respects patient’s culture, lifestyle, religion and age when planning or implementing care.
• Accepts constructive criticism and channels emotional reaction in a positive manner.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Clinical experience preferred.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization.
• Certification in specialty preferred.
