About The Position
Gunnison Valley Health is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Emergency Department team. As the sole community-owned health system for Gunnison County and surrounding areas, Gunnison Valley Health offers a fully integrated health system with services for all stages of life. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
- RN license current in the state of Colorado or compact state.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS and PALS maintenance expected.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess and care for patients by collaborating with all members of the health care team.
- Cross train and float to other areas of nursing as required.
- Utilize unique skills and ideas by participating in process improvement and consistently offering solution-based input.
- Provide patient and family-centered care.
- Continue to attain knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practices.
