About The Position
Join the Emergency Department at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, and be part of a collaborative team delivering high-acuity emergency care in one of the region’s leading academic medical centers. As the only Level I Trauma Center north of Boston, the Joseph C. Corkery Emergency Center provides advanced emergency care to patients across Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Our ED was thoughtfully designed to support efficient, patient centered care and features 36 private patient rooms, dedicated behavioral health spaces, advanced imaging capabilities, and four fully equipped trauma bays.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Strong clinical judgment and technical skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Vaccinated against influenza (flu)

Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care while coordinating across the care continuum.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Provide age-appropriate and evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Continuously evaluate and adjust care plans.

- Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and preventative care.
