About The Position

Provide nursing care in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department at a state-of-the-art facility handling more than 100,000 visits per year. The facility is recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country and is the region’s only Level I trauma center, serving a diverse patient population.

The role involves coordinating care in the Emergency Department, including assisting with boarder patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes. The schedule rotates among day, evening, and night shifts and includes blocked weekends. Flexibility is required for floating, holidays, and on-call duties according to unit needs.

Requirements

• Active New York RN license.
• At least two years of Emergency Department experience.
• Telemetry experience.
• Previous travel Emergency Department experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
