About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department is responsible for delivering patient care that promotes patient safety and well-being. This role involves assisting in coordinating the operations of a shift on the nursing unit, making staff assignments, providing guidance and direction to personnel, delivering direct patient care, aiding in new staff orientation and training, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient care needs. Morgan Medical Center is a Level IV Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency medicine-trained, board-certified physicians and is a Georgia DPH Designated Remote Stroke Treatment Center. The hospital offers expanded surgical services, advanced imaging, and an inpatient rehabilitation/swing bed program. It is a DNV-accredited Critical Access Hospital aligned with ISO 9001 quality principles, with a strong focus on patient safety, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing School
  • Associates Degree in Nursing
  • Current GA RN License
  • Current Certifications through the American Heart Association in BLS
  • Current Certifications through the American Heart Association in ACLS
  • Current Certifications through the American Heart Association in PALS / ENPC
