About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) to deliver rapid, holistic care to acute patients across all age demographics—from neonates to older adults. In this role, you will execute the full nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation), coordinate multidisciplinary care, and apply specialized trauma and cardiac capabilities within a fast-paced Level I Trauma environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of dedicated Emergency Room RN experience
• Demonstrated experience working in a Level I Trauma Center
• Minimum of 1 year of prior travel nursing experience
• Hands-on experience caring for all patient populations (pediatric through geriatric)
• Advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation proficiency
• Experience with the Epic Electronic Health Record system
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Active Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
• Active NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Responsibilities

• Assess, prioritize, and treat patients presenting with urgent or life-threatening clinical conditions across the lifespan.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms, manage critical telemetry, and deliver specialized trauma and stroke interventions.
• Develop and revise patient care plans, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and delegate clinical activities appropriately.
• Utilize EHR systems to document care accurately and participate in practice improvement initiatives to elevate patient care and safety.
