About The Position

This role focuses on leading the implementation of evidence-based practices within the Emergency Department to enhance patient outcomes. The specialist will ensure care is safe, consistent, and aligned with current clinical standards. They will collaborate with clinical leaders to identify and address quality and safety issues, analyze data to drive improvements in nursing practice, and mentor caregivers through direct interaction and support. The position involves guiding the development and execution of practice guidelines and improvement initiatives to elevate care delivery at the unit or division level.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Red Cross or American Heart Association accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
• 2 years applicable experience required.

• Analyze patient safety and quality data to uncover trends and drive meaningful improvements in nursing practice.
• Coach and mentor caregivers through hands-on rounding and collaboration, building clinical confidence and capability across teams.
• Guide the development and implementation of practice guidelines and improvement initiatives that elevate care delivery at the unit or division level.
