About The Position

Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for part-time to full-time (0.5 - 0.9 FTE) employed positions. Join an established team of Physicians, Physician Assistants, nurses, and support staff in a facility with 14,000-15,000 visits annually. This Level IV trauma and stroke-certified facility utilizes an Electronic Medical Record (Oracle/Cerner) with Dragon dictation. The progressive team is committed to quality, evidence-based care, exceptional patient satisfaction, and integrated technology. The department is equipped with bedside ultrasound, in-department CT, fiber optic intubation equipment, and other state-of-the-art equipment. 24/7 radiology, stroke, and psychiatry services are available.

Requirements

Successful completion of a post-graduate residency in internal medicine accredited by the ACGME, AOA or equivalent.
Maintenance of an active Minnesota medical license.
Current certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine or active participation in the examination process leading to certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
Current Certification in BLS.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency medical care as a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician.
Work within a team of Physicians, Physician Assistants, nurses, and support staff.

Provide care in a Level IV trauma and stroke-certified facility.
Work with state-of-the-art equipment including bedside ultrasound and in-department CT.
Collaborate with 24/7 radiology, stroke, and psychiatry services.
