Requirements
- Associate of Science in Nursing upon hire.
- Registered Nurse license in Arkansas upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (CPR) within 30 days.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 12 months.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support upon hire.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete patient assessments.
- Document assessments in compliance with hospital policy.
- Initiate the Patient Goal/Problem List or Clinical Path on admission.
- Develop a Plan of Care that supports patient goals and the medical plan of care.
- Obtain and/or verify physician orders for procedures, medications, and therapies.
- Ensure consent is present and documented for procedures, therapies, and research protocols.
- Ensure appropriate supplies are available to perform ordered procedures or therapies.
