About The Position
Emergency Department Nurse Educator plans, coordinates, provides and evaluates learning experiences for all levels of nursing staff to promote/maintain their competency. Assists in the promotion of the mission, policies and practices of the Nursing Department.
Requirements
- Master's in nursing or closely related degree required
- Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with demonstrated competence in Nursing practice as an Emergency Department nurse and leadership skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year experience teaching adults in classroom and clinical area with demonstrated competence in program planning, principle, and practice of adult learning is preferred.
