About The Position

Emerald Host provides outstanding guest service by actively monitoring the restaurant's flow. Enthusiastically greets guests upon arrival and warmly thanks them as they leave. Ensures table availability and wait times are well-managed. When seating guests, cheerfully informs them of their server and handles any special requests with a smile. Hosts/Hostesses may also assist with take-out orders.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• Organization and multitasking skills.
• To be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all guests are seated in a timely manner.
• Greet every guest with a smile.
• Inform the guest(s) of his/her Food Server by name.
• Maintain constant awareness of table availability in designated area.
• Thank guest for patronage and welcome them back.
