Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Active licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
- EMDR certification (EMDRIA-approved) or actively working toward certification
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in SUD or co-occurring disorders
- Strong understanding of trauma, PTSD, and the impact on substance use intensive outpatient (IOP) settings preferred
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with complex trauma and dual diagnosis populations
- Training in additional evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, Somatic Therapies)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while functioning as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy utilizing EMDR and other trauma-focused modalities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Facilitate psychoeducation groups related to trauma, coping skills, and recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including medical, psychiatric, and case management staff
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Participate in case staffing, clinical supervision, and team meetings
- Ensure delivery of care aligns with trauma-informed and person-centered principles
