Requirements

  • Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Active licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
  • EMDR certification (EMDRIA-approved) or actively working toward certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in SUD or co-occurring disorders
  • Strong understanding of trauma, PTSD, and the impact on substance use intensive outpatient (IOP) settings preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with complex trauma and dual diagnosis populations
  • Training in additional evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, Somatic Therapies)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while functioning as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy utilizing EMDR and other trauma-focused modalities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Facilitate psychoeducation groups related to trauma, coping skills, and recovery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including medical, psychiatric, and case management staff
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
  • Participate in case staffing, clinical supervision, and team meetings
  • Ensure delivery of care aligns with trauma-informed and person-centered principles
