About The Position

abra professional services is seeking an experienced EMC Test Technician to join a professional electronics testing laboratory. The role involves performing Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests according to applicable military and aerospace standards, operating laboratory test equipment, documenting procedures and results, and preparing technical reports in English. The technician will also calibrate laboratory equipment, ensure accurate and reliable measurements, develop practical solutions to testing challenges, and work with engineering teams and customers in Israel and abroad.

Requirements

• Practical Engineer or Technician diploma in Electronics.
• Strong technical and hands-on capabilities in laboratory testing and electronic measurement equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, independence, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours when required.
• Experience working with customers in Israel and abroad.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3 years of experience in an EMC testing group.
• Familiarity with military and aerospace standards, including MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-704, and RTCA DO-160.

Responsibilities

• Perform EMC tests in accordance with applicable military and aerospace standards.
• Operate laboratory test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and other measurement instruments.
• Document test procedures and results and prepare technical reports in English.
• Calibrate laboratory test equipment and ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
• Develop creative and practical solutions to meet testing requirements and overcome technical challenges.
• Work closely with engineering teams and customers in Israel and abroad.
