About The Position

Sibanye-Stillwater is looking for an EMC Technician to join our 1st Shift Recovery Operations team in Fairless Hills, PA. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying active, learning new skills, and being part of a team, this could be a great opportunity for you. As an EMC Technician, you’ll help sort, classify, and dismantle electronic materials so they can be properly prepared for the next stage of our recovery operations. No previous electronics recycling experience? That’s okay. We’re looking for dependable team members who are ready to learn, work safely, and contribute.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Dependable and ready to work as part of a team.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail.
Willingness to learn—we’ll provide training.
Reliable transportation to our Fairless Hills facility, as public transportation is not available to the site.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.
Ability to work safely in an industrial environment while wearing required PPE.
Successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, drug screening, and medical clearance.
Ability to meet applicable ITAR and NAID access requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

Sort and classify different types of electronic materials.
Dismantle electronics and components to separate and prepare materials for processing.
Learn to identify different materials and determine how they should be processed.
Work with a variety of materials and adapt to changing daily production needs.
Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
Follow established safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Work alongside your team to meet daily production goals.
