About The Position
The Intern will work at a bovine In Vitro Fertilization laboratory. The intern will be involved in oocyte collection, maturation, fertilization and culture of In-vitro produced embryos in addition to providing overall laboratory support.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a four-year program at an accredited university, working towards a degree in Animal Science, Biology, Zoology, or related field.
- Basic laboratory and troubleshooting skills and analytical ability.
- High regard for quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team and enjoy a team-based environment.
- Highly collaborative, self-motivate, and flexible.
- Good organization, written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Providing assistance to the embryologist in oocyte collection, maturation, fertilization and culture of In-vitro produced embryos.
- Provides general laboratory support.
