We are a fast-growing luxury sleepwear company with a warehouse located in Richmond, VA.
Requirements
- At least 1 full year's experience as an experienced sewing machine operator
- Must have previous experience working in high-capacity sewing roles
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience operating embroidery machines
- Effective written and verbal communication and the ability to communicate regularly and professionally with other teams
- Ability to work with multiple types of fabrics and patterns
- Must be detail oriented and meticulous
- Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work unsupervised
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial embroidery machines in an efficient manner
- Set up embroidery machines, selecting the thread, backing, and stabilizers used for each job
- Use an industrial iron
- Exceptional quality control of product before and after production
- Able to achieve reasonable production output based on daily mix of production
- Balance multiple projects without sacrificing efficiency
- Exceptional attention to detail while using rulers, hoops, pins, and other sewing equipment
