About The Position

The Embroidery Operator is responsible for operating embroidery equipment and fulfilling all embroidery orders. This role contributes to the success of the company by producing high quality and consistent embroidery pieces in a timely manner to meet the customer’s expectations. This is a non-exempt, full-time position requiring an average of 40 hours per week. This is not an entry-level position; previous embroidery machine operator experience is required to be considered.

  • Previous embroidery machine operator experience is required
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing and operating machinery

Responsibilities

  • Independently operates all embroidery equipment to quickly and efficiently fulfill orders and meet deadlines
  • Monitors and inspects each piece throughout the process to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of each job
  • Performs routine maintenance on all embroidery equipment and notifies lead/management of any necessary issues or repairs needed
  • Sets machine up for each order
  • Follow all safety protocols
  • Maintain and update production logs
  • Clean up and resetting equipment after each order
  • Training other team members as needed
  • Other duties and tasks as needed, such as cleaning and organizing production areas
