EMBREX Machine Operator - 1st Shift Tues/ Wed/ Sat/ Sun- Camilla Hatchery - 1st shift
About The Position
The Embrex machine operator is responsible for operating a specific piece of equipment in an assigned area for efficient production while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This role is part of an egg transfer crew, involving the removal of flats of eggs from incubators and transferring them to hatchers. The work requires operating a vaccine applicator/egg transfer machine and involves working in and out of warm environments. The schedule is every Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, starting at 5 AM until completion, typically by 4 PM. This is a labor-intensive position that requires continuous standing and walking, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds with a full range of motion.
Requirements
- Must have 3 months of operator experience.
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds with full range of motion from floor to waist, and from above head to waist.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
