About The Position

RFA Engineering develops embedded software and electronics for clients in precision agriculture and vehicle electrification. This position will operate onsite at our customer's engineering and manufacturing facility. As a Product Owner, you will lead a software engineering team on the development of cutting-edge applications for precision agriculture technology using tools and processes commonly found in the automotive industry.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's of Science degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related
In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
Working knowledge of product development architecture
Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
Ability to prioritize effectively
Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles
Understanding of design quality standards
Ability to lead a team of developers

Nice To Haves

Experience with CAN J1939, ISOBUS (ISO11783) and other commonly used vehicle communication protocols
Experience with C, C++, C#, Qt, and Simulink MBSD
General knowledge of vehicles including automotive, off-highway and industrial applications

Responsibilities

Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
Defining the vision for the team’s product
Creating a product road map based on this vision
Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
Developing user stories
Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
