About The Position
The 2027 Summer Internship Program at The Toro Company (TTC) offers a unique opportunity to work on projects directly with the Commercial Products software engineering team. Interns will be guided by a mentor and will contribute to the development and testing of products, building/supporting in-house tools, and performing data analysis of collected field data. The Toro Company has a long history of delivering innovative products and exceptional customer care, with over 11,000 employees worldwide and headquartered in Bloomington, Minnesota, USA.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an educational program during the duration of the internship program.
- Majoring in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science – focusing on embedded systems.
- Minimum 3.2 GPA preferred.
- Entering your sophomore year of college at a minimum.
- Programming Experience in C or C# preferred.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to solve challenging problems
- Positive attitude
Nice To Haves
- Python, C++, Visual C programming, JSON, and experience with CAN bus protocol are all beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Working directly with our project teams to develop and test our products
- Building/Supporting in-house tools for the development team
- Data analysis of collected field data
