About The Position
KPM Analytics is bringing a new instrumentation product to market and is seeking an embedded engineer to work on firmware for microcontrollers, sensors, and real-time systems, integrated with a Windows application. This role offers the opportunity to work on real code running inside actual instruments destined for customers, with involvement in actual product launch activities.
Requirements
- Studying CS, EE, Robotics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with NXP chips, RTOS, or sensor interfacing.
- Ability to debug unusual hardware issues.
- Capability to quickly understand and work within existing codebases.
- Desire for ownership and meaningful work.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Python/MicroPython.
- Experience with C#.
Responsibilities
- Develop, fix, and improve NXP microcontroller firmware.
- Work with RTOS environments.
- Integrate camera and time-of-flight sensors.
- Implement communications protocols such as UART, SPI, I²C, USB, CAN, and Modbus.
- Perform C# development within the SensorVu Windows 11 application.
- Participate in actual product launch activities.
