About The Position

Client is seeking a Software Engineer to support embedded software development for equipment control systems. This role focuses on developing and integrating software solutions for embedded hardware using C/C++, with an emphasis on controls logic and human-machine interfaces. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to develop, test, and deliver secure, high-quality embedded software solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on embedded software development experience; recent graduates with successful internship or co-op experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong software design and programming skills using C/C++.
• Experience with development tools such as Git and Jira.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site in New Freedom, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, high-quality embedded software solutions for equipment controls.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, controls, hardware, and applications teams to ensure effective subsystem integration.
• Support the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design documentation, prototyping, implementation, and unit testing.
• Deliver secure, high-quality software products in a timely manner.
• Contribute to a collaborative engineering environment and support continuous improvement initiatives.
