About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. This role involves developing software for embedded systems, requiring a strong foundation in C++ and the Linux operating system. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software development tools, version control, and debugging environments, along with excellent analytical and communication skills. This is an onsite position located in Oakbrook, IL.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing software for embedded systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• C++ (14 / 17) experience with knowledge of threading
• Proficiency with the Linux Operating System
• Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and debugging environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle processes and engineering best practices.
