About The Position

As a software engineer for Airborne Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for airborne computers that process and display mission data in the cockpit, to crypto products for identifying friendly aircraft, and weapon control systems that enable the launch and control of precision guided weapons. We work to ensure the world's most advanced aircraft maintain air superiority and information dominance. Due to the nature of the work, the candidate must possess a current Department of Defense security clearance of Secret or above.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or Engineering, Science, or Math.
  • Clear understanding of the software engineering concepts, principles, theories, software development process, and agile methodology.
  • Clear understanding of the software development process, with agile experience.
  • Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity.
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
