About The Position

As a software engineer for Airborne Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for airborne computers that process and display mission data in the cockpit, to crypto products for identifying friendly aircraft, and weapon control systems that enable the launch and control of precision guided weapons. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 3 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Solid knowledge of the software development process.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong proficiency in languages such as C++, C, Python
  • Solid background in embedded software development, Linux, RTOS, and HW/SW integration
  • Extensive experience with software design, code, integration, and test
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Willingness to dig into hardware specifications and leveraging hardware interfaces in the composition of low-level software solutions.
  • Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
