About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer Level 3 to join their team. This is an onsite position located in Camarillo, California, with a 9/80 work schedule. The role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher. The engineer will develop embedded real-time system software within an Agile Scrum team, resolve software and system defects, and collaborate with customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include participating in peer reviews, milestone reviews, and technical interchange meetings. The position utilizes various project-dependent tools for configuration, requirements, development, and collaboration, including Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest, DOORS, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence. Proficiency in programming languages such as Ada, C/C++, C#, and Python is expected, along with experience in operating systems/RTOS like Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux.

Requirements

  • BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 5 years of experience, or MS degree in a STEM field with 3 years of experience.
  • Experience with a higher-order programming language such as Ada, C/C++, or C#.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented software development.
  • Ability to function as a member of an integrated team.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.
  • DoD Secret Clearance or higher required; interim Secret is acceptable.
