About Revel At Revel, we are revolutionizing the way the world’s most critical hardware is controlled—across aerospace, automotive, energy, and manufacturing sectors. Our next-generation software stack combines an intuitive command/control interface, a specialized programming language tailored for hardware control, and a high-performance runtime environment. We empower engineers to build, test, and deploy critical systems rapidly, reliably, and safely. The Internship As an Embedded Software Engineering Intern at Revel, you’ll work on the software that connects our high-performance runtime to the physical world. You’ll work closely with experienced software and embedded engineers to develop systems software, integrate with hardware, and build the foundations that allow Revel to reliably control complex industrial machinery. You’ll gain hands-on experience working across the boundary between software and hardware—from communication protocols and hardware interfaces to Linux systems and low-level debugging. This is a highly technical internship for students who want to understand what happens below the application layer and build software where performance, reliability, and correctness matter. You’ll contribute to real engineering projects, learn from senior engineers, and develop experience with the systems programming and hardware integration challenges behind critical software.
