Requirements

  • Master's degree in Embedded Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six (6) months of experience as a computer engineer or related role OR a Bachelor's degree in Embedded Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 2.5 years of experience as a computer engineer or related role.
  • Software development on at least one of the following: platforms, emulation environment, or simulator models; Embedded software validation and debugging; Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and unit testing; Scripting languages (Bash or Python); and GIT or similar version control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Apply expertise from design through verification, implementation and delivery of next-generation products for water quality measurement.
  • Create new products and features in the firmware code base.
  • Apply theory of firmware architecture to debug and update code base as needed.
  • Use C++ and Object Oriented (OO) design principles to develop robust embedded software.
  • Create detailed release documentation and test plans.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and follow processes using Agile/Scrum methodologies for project and work management.
  • Participate in regular code reviews and code inspections.
  • Cross functionally participate in analyzing product requirements, design specifications.
  • Develop, verify, provide performance analysis, troubleshoot and deliver high-quality embedded software.
