Embedded Software Engineer I – C/C++ Aerospace
About The Position
As a Software Engineer I, you will be responsible for executing project subtasks in order to meet customer specifications, and validate various interconnected, advanced aerospace systems spanning communications management functions (CMF), Flight Management Systems (FMS) and other mission-critical systems on various avionic platforms. You will be expected to apply for a broad range of software engineering skillsets, coordinate across hardware and software teams, and ensure compliance with all customer and regulatory requirements. You will be an active contributor amongst an integrated product team supporting the development of current and future datalink systems while ensuring compliance within aerospace certification standards.
Requirements
- Experience with C/C++ programming languages.
- Familiarity with aerospace systems (CMF, FMS).
- Ability to coordinate across hardware and software teams.
- Understanding of customer and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of aerospace certification standards.
