About The Position
KBR's National Security Solutions team is seeking Embedded Software Developers to join their multidisciplinary MIT LL team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing flight software for prototype advanced communications systems. Your tasks will include supporting technical exchange meetings, test planning, procedure reviews, and providing technical reports to management and the MIT LL customer. These positions require an active DoD Secret clearance and offer the opportunity to work on impactful projects that protect national security.
Requirements
- The ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience with C++
- Experience with real-time operating systems
- Good oral and communication skills
- Outgoing and energetic with the ability to work within a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Matlab
- Familiarity with Python
- Experience with flight software development
- Experience with Flight Systems software
- Possess strong oral and written communications skills, and must be able to present findings/results to internal and external organizations
- Willing and able to travel (up to 25%, typically CONUS)
- BS in EE or CS
