This role focuses on supporting software integration, deployment, and validation for ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) and Active Safety systems. The engineer will integrate and verify software across various ECUs, sensors, cameras, and vehicle variants. Key activities include vehicle-level diagnostics, CAN analysis, and log investigations to pinpoint system issues. The position involves validating features like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), and Lane Keeping Assistance (LKA). The engineer will investigate issues related to sensors, radar, cameras, network communication, and software interactions that impact ADAS performance. They will also evaluate the influence of sensor packaging, mounting, calibration, environmental factors, and vehicle architecture on system performance. Additionally, the role supports software release management, variant management, feature enablement, and software configuration across multiple vehicle platforms. Collaboration with global engineering teams to resolve defects and integration issues is crucial. The engineer will manage issues through defect tracking systems, provide technical recommendations, and create/maintain technical documentation, including software baselines, BOMs, integration guides, and validation reports. Support for vehicle integration throughout development, validation, launch, and continuous improvement phases is also required.
