About The Position

United Launch Alliance is seeking an Embedded Flight Software Engineer 4 to help develop flight software and related systems for space launch vehicles. The role works with a collaborative team in an agile environment and may serve as a technical lead or Product Owner, as well as a hands-on developer delivering operational and enabling capabilities for real-time embedded flight control systems. The engineer drives requirements and acceptance criteria, plans integration and test activities, and takes ownership of the team backlog and implementation. The role designs, develops, and documents software products; guides teams through the full software lifecycle; and uses appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools. Work includes refining requirements, designing subsystems, implementing code modules, and building integration, component, and unit tests. The engineer also works with cross-functional partners and technical leaders to deliver effective software solutions, including through the use of AI-assisted tooling. The position is based at ULA in Denver. Relocation may be available, and travel is listed as none or infrequent. Applicants must be U.S. Persons because the position involves ITAR-controlled information.
